That is a good question. I can see where she would not want any of our beloved characters to go down. But I have to agree that the build up was pretty intense for there to be pretty much no violence at all. I mean we are talking about vampires here ones that lead unknowing tourists into a room to eat them. I don't feel they would back down so easily. That said I still love love love the book and still wish there were more to read!

So, I was thinking the other day about Breaking Dawn and I remembered an interview that Stephanie Myers did in response to some of the negative feedback that she recieved from fans about the climax leading up to the war against the Volturi and then the war never happen. She stated that she just couldn't see a way to do a big war without casulties. So my question to you all is, do you like the way Breaking Dawn went or do you really wish that there would have been a big blood bath, even if some of our favorite characters would not have survived it?
